What’s that damn stuff every expat loves about China?

If you are hovering around this page, quite likely, you are exploring your China options. I have some good news for your curious mind. 🙂

TanTan dating in China: Jay 23, Student.

A quick list of 5 things that most of the expats love about LIVING/WORKING in China!

Girls

Make no mistake; most of the single expats in China end up dating Chinese girls. Sure enough. This is the number 1 desire for most of the expats.

So how do you find a Chinese girlfriend? Well, Chinese women generally look for a long-term relationship. Everything revolves around getting married (especially if your girl is 24+).

That is to say, if you want to find a Chinese girlfriend: stay in China for a long-term with a decent paying job. Make a good profile story. Being white does help, however, race is not that important as long as you are not a poor dude.

Learn how to use WeChat/Weixin efficiently. The rest will follow. Some basic knowledge of Mandarin will help, but it’s not all that important. My fav book on Amazon:

Chicks are everywhere in China. There is a huge variety over here. Lots to select! Your chances of hitting a bullseye in China are very high.

In case you are having massive bang sessions, which is very much going to be the case, don’t forget to use rubber. This is a freaking must. 😉

Safety

China is very safe for living. Any city, any province. Every foreigner living in China would agree to this basic fact I have wandered into China in days and nights, in the countryside and big cities, never had any safety problems. Don’t touch the law, and you are fine! In particular, never get into the DRUG shit…

Cost of living

Of course, it’d vary based on your lifestyle. However, I’m of the mind that the cost of living in China is largely affordable (compared to the western countries). For example, you can manage a good living in Beijing/Shanghai type of city for about RMB 7000/person/month (US $1000). I spend about RMB 5000/month (rental included).

Online dating is very popular in China.

Food

I love Chinese food, all the time. It’s very much affordable and tasty. For about RMB 15 onwards you can grab a filling lunch in almost every Chinese city. I have my each meal for about RMB 15 (university canteens are cheaper and worth exploring). The traditional Chinese breakfast would cost me about RMB 5. Home delivery of food, WaiMai, is fast and cheap, rain or shine. Often, the home delivery is free. The two most popular Apps for home delivery are Meituan and Eleme.

Delicious Chinese food.

Travel

China has one of the highest numbers of UNESCO world-heritage sites. I have been here for a couple of years and still exploring. China is too big. Even if you wander for 4-5 years, you won’t finish the travelling the whole country.

Chinese bullet train.

Moreover, the public transportation in China (especially in the western China), couldn’t be better. The trains (CSR: China High-speed Rail) are clean and well-maintained, run on time, and the prices are usually fixed irrespective of when exactly you book.

The trains in China (not just the high-speed) are very much safe.
