I am more than glad to share the news that my work contract in China has been extended one more time, and this time by one more year. 🙂
What’s more, I will be receiving a good pay throughout the duration of this renewed contract.
I am in the process of renewing my work permit. In fact, the work permit application is not in my hand as the application is usually initiated by the employer. I just provided the required documents to my employer.
Once I am notified about the renewal of my work permit, I will apply for the residence permit renewal. The whole process is similar as I wrote earlier:
The extension is exciting news as I enjoy living in China, and don’t really plan to look for a job elsewhere.
In particular, given that the whole world is facing 2nd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, and I have a history of diabetes, extension of the work contract is indeed a great news for me.
Let’s hope we get the Covid-19 vaccines ASAP.
In any case, by the time I’ll complete my new work contract, I will already be in my 5 year of China stay.
