Although I have been in China for 4 years, I have not seen such kind of cold weather in Shanghai.

I bought a biscuit pack for RMB 3.

Then, I started walking to my home, about 500m away. I opened the biscuit packet, and though it would be good to eat them as I walked.

However, soon my hands were not working. Soooo much of freaking cold! I felt an extremely high level of pain in my hands. I put the biscuit packet back in my pocket. Then I quickly got into a McDonald’s store. It was warm inside. My hands were back to normal in about 10 minutes that I spent inside McDonald’s.

I can’t even imagine how is life in the northern part of China where -20’C is just a normal temperature in the winter.

Are you in China? How is temperature in your city?

Stay warm.
